Beck & Partner
Austria
Beck & Partner KG was set up in 2004. Initially we began as a consulting and coordination office with external specialists in the fields of renewable energy, drinking water and innovation. Our special service is defining and coordinating R&D projects by taking a rough idea and matching it with practical / commercial need, including ”design-to-cost” methodology. Examples are EU-projects, national R&D funding or investor-financed development of products and procedures. Good connections to universities and research organisations around Europe help us to find expertise where we need it.
In the last 7 years renewable heating and district heating became the primary focus. A series of nationally and internationally funded R&D projects across Europe and an increasing number of commercial projects in Germany and Austria are completed or ongoing.
We acquired special experise in using the treasure of operative data in heating grids and analysing them with advanced mathematical tools like machine learning and AI. Since 2022 we hold a patent for the control of distict heating grids with application of AI (awarded in Austria, international listing is pending).
